School Visitors
Parent visits
We recognise that choosing a school for your child is an extremely difficult and important decision. If you are considering Presfield for your child we will still try to offer you the best opportunity to judge our fantastic school.
Please contact the office to arrange a visit around the school after the school day. Either the Head or Deputy will conduct this tour providing information about the school and answer any questions or queries you may have. If you would then like a second visit within the school day to help judge the school at work we can facilitate this for one parent/carer only. Again masks must be worn and hand santiser used.
We encourage parents to return to the school with their child if they think the school is suitable. Again we would look to facilitate this in as safe a way as possible.
Presfield warmly welcomes visitors whether you are prospective parents/carers, visiting professionals, training for a career within education, seeking to increase understanding of ASC or simply just want to see what we do.
Whilst visiting the school we expect you to respect our students and our staff and to follow the school procedures outline below::
- Sign in at the school office
- Wear, visibly, the visitor’s badge at all times
- Sign out and return the badge when you leave the premises
- Provide office staff with a copy of your DBS check if you are expecting to work alone with students.
In the event of a fire, an alarm will be activated. You will be required to evacuate the building via the nearest exit and assemble at the rear of the school.
If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact the school office. We look forward to seeing you!
